Relational Art Therapy

Relational art therapy is a form of therapy that focuses on the relationship and uses the creative process* and the medium of visual and plastic arts to develop self-awareness, promote emotional exploration, and improve mental health.

The creative process* acts as a bridge between the inner and outer worlds, between the created image and personal thoughts, feelings, and sensations. The artwork becomes a mirror of emotions, internal thoughts, and blockages.
